Join us for Otago, a unique, progressive exercise program that’s been shown to reduce the risk of falls in participants by up to 35%.
The group will meet twice a week with an Otago-trained peer to complete seventeen strength and balance exercises. Benefits of the program include strengthened balance, increased muscle strength, and enhanced general fitness and well-being.
Class pre-assessments will be held Thursday, August 6th, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
Post-class assessments will be on Monday, December 7th, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
Classes occur every Monday & Thursday from August 10th to December 3rd.
There is a required pre-assessment on Thursday, August 6th and a required post-assessment on Monday, December 7th.
