Health Coaching
The Health Coaching Program partners you with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to identify lifestyle, activity, or dietary goals that you may want to work on.

About the Health Coaching Program
This program focuses on identifying nutrition and activity modifications that support an individual’s personal health goals. The coaching is intended to help the participants make sustainable lifestyle changes that promote long-term benefits and improvements to their health.
Anyone wanting to work on a health goal is eligible for consideration. There is no specific diagnosis, BMI, or other criteria.
This program includes six one-on-one sessions with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, including:
- An initial 60-minute visit that includes a lifestyle assessment and identifies areas for improvement together. Personalized goals and action plans are developed.
- Up to five subsequent 30-minute individual visits are available. The number of individual visits is determined by the RDN and the participant. The focus will be on the monitoring and measurement of the attainment of goals.
- Up to two additional follow-up visits can be scheduled given that the RDN and the participant agree that doing so would benefit the participant in achieving their personal health goals.
To qualify for the Health Coaching Program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Reside within the boundaries of Public Hospital District #3, Snohomish County, which encompasses the communities of Arlington and Darrington.
- Do not have nutrition benefits through your health insurance plan or do not have health insurance.
To determine eligiblitiy, call Sound Dietitians at (425) 409-3544. They will request your insurance information and home address to see if you qualify.
