About the Take Charge of Your Health Series

This free program supports individuals looking to build healthier habits, manage chronic conditions, or reduce their risk of diabetes.

All program materials are available directly on this webpage, including class recordings, PowerPoint slides, handouts, the session schedule, and details on borrowing or purchasing the reference book (above).

The program is designed for individuals or loved ones who have been diagnosed with prediabetes or a chronic disease, may be at risk for developing diabetes, or want to improve their health habits.

The 12 recorded sessions follow the structure and chapters of “Prediabetes: A Complete Guide.” Participants are encouraged to read assigned chapters between sessions and apply what they learn to daily routines.

Because all materials are provided up front, the course can be completed at each participant’s own pace as a fully self-guided experience.
