DESCRIPTION:Join us for Otago\, a unique\, progressive exercise program that’s been shown to reduce the risk of falls in participants by up to 35%.  \nThe group will meet twice a week with an Otago-trained peer to complete seventeen strength and balance exercises. Benefits of the program include strengthened balance\, increased muscle strength\, and enhanced general fitness and well-being.   \nClass pre-assessments will be held Thursday\, August 6th\, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.   \nPost-class assessments will be on Monday\, December 7th\, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.  \nClasses occur every Monday & Thursday from August 10th to December 3rd.  \nThere is a required pre-assessment on Thursday\, August 6th and a required post-assessment on Monday\, December 7th.
